Introduction to Our Previous Principals

A school’s legacy is shaped not only by its students and teachers but by the leadership that guides it. Over the years, our institution has been fortunate to be led by a series of dedicated and visionary principals who have each contributed to its growth and excellence. From laying strong academic foundations to spearheading innovative programs, their efforts have helped shape the vibrant community we are proud of today. In the following section, we honor and remember the individuals who have served as principals, recognizing their invaluable impact on our school’s journey.

After its establishment, the mantle of leadership was passed on to Mrs. P. I. Page, who made history as the first Indian principal of the school. Her dedicated service marked the beginning of a new chapter, one that was further carried forward by Mrs. Dolly Sharan, whose tenure saw the school continue to flourish in both academic and co-curricular domains.

In 2003, Mr. G. R. George took over as principal and led the institution for a fruitful period of eight years, until 2011. His leadership was characterized by discipline, innovation, and a strong commitment to student development.

Following him, Rev. Anand Shukla served as principal from 2011 to November 2016, bringing with him a pastoral and nurturing approach to education. Under his guidance, the school continued to uphold its legacy while also embracing modern educational practices.

Through the years, Christ Church Diocesan School has remained committed to its founding vision—shaping young minds through faith, knowledge, and service—and continues to be a place where learning is cherished, values are instilled, and leaders of tomorrow are nurtured.
